Karya Guest House Syariah

I was supposed to get breakfast for two with my room, but the hotel hadn't checked that properly and gave me only one. Staff were also hard to find, and there was no room phone or WhatsApp number to reach reception. Poor service. My rating works out to 10/3 = 3.3, rounded down.

The shared space in the middle of the guest house works well for eating or meeting up, and there's a prayer room nearby. Parking is available for cars and motorcycles. You can check in early up to 11 AM, with check-out no later than 1 PM. There's a laundry and grocery store right outside, handy for snacks, soap, and other small needs. Pusako Satu restaurant is across from GH, but it hasn't opened yet, so lunch options should be easier once it does. I stayed two nights while visiting family. The guest house and bathroom were clean, the room was comfortable, and both the water and heating worked properly. Each room comes with two towels, toiletries, two bottles of water, and a glass. Refills are outside the room, along with a dispenser, coffee, and sugar. God willing, when I'm back in Jambi, I'll choose Karya Guest House again. It's comfortable and well kept. The staff are excellent and professional, and I wish the owner continued success.

The WhatsApp admin was friendly and informative, though the hotel terminology could be clearer. My room had two single beds, commonly called twin beds, but the admin called it a double bed, which left me a bit pre-loaded when I went to order. That was my only small bit of feedback. The rest of the stay was very satisfying, and I'd come back to Jambi and stay here again. Pusako Satu is due to open right across from the guesthouse, which will make souvenir shopping easier. I booked Karya Guest House Syariah for the first time because it was near my family's home. The price was affordable, with facilities comparable to a 3-star hotel. The room was fairly spacious, the toilet was clean, and there's a dining space in the living room plus a prayer room. A mini market and laundry service are near the lobby. Towels, toiletries, and mineral water are provided, as are coffee and tea in the living room. Parking is ample and free, and the staff are friendly. There are lots of food places in front, though many were closed because we arrived during Eid al-Fitr. 🥲 ❤️

The room was clean and comfortable, and the supplies were well cared for. The TV worked, breakfast was included, and the first floor felt safe for kids. There's parking for cars, and snacks are easy to get nearby.
