I paid for a hotel booking through an app and got there at 7:00 PM, but it was dark and nobody was around. It felt like a scam. Can I get my money back? I should receive a full refund since this wasn't our mistake.

It costs 170,000 Rupiah, and the only access is through a narrow alley. There's no fence, and it's really only suitable for sleeping. The service is lacking. They show up on online apps, but bookings through them aren't accepted, even though the app rate is cheaper at 120,000 Rupiah. Cash only.

The location is handy, very close to the bus counters near Alam Barajo terminal, so it could suit parents visiting students who live away from home. I got a clean, comfortable room with a water heater, AC, TV, and a comfortable bed for under 200,000 Rupiah. Mustofa and Fadlil were friendly, which made the stay better. Highly recommend it.

The room was a good place to rest and freshen up before carrying on with my journey. It was clean, and at 150,000 Rupiah a night, good value. When I arrived at night it was very dark and a little scary, but the guard switched on the lights. I booked on booking.com, but the reservation hadn't reached their system, so I was marked as a no-show. That was the only issue.
