The hotel had a lovely mix of nature, comfort, and quiet. The staff were welcoming, kind, and attentive, and the place itself was stunning. We had a fantastic family trip and would love to return. The food was excellent, with delicious authentic dishes. Their famous curry cooked in bamboo was unforgettable. Thanks to the kitchen team, the chefs and servers, for all their kindness and great work. We also visited the rice fields with an excellent guide, which felt like a wonderful, authentic experience, and spent a very relaxing, unforgettable time at the hot springs.

The roomy tent and hot tub exceeded everything we expected, and we were grateful for the free upgrade to a suite. This really is a magical place. You can tell the creator paid attention to every detail, and it all adds to the resort’s peaceful, luxurious feel. It’s impressive that someone created this secluded retreat in such a quiet part of the jungle. No noisy tourism, just peaceful nature.

We got a free upgrade, and the accommodation was great. The one issue was that the hot water wasn’t consistent. Sang Giri is beautiful and serene, tucked into the valley of Mount Batukaru about ten minutes from the famous Jatiluwih rice terrace, with a magnificent sunrise view. The owner was super friendly and attentive, and the restaurant food was simply delicious. Google Maps points to a different place, so finding it can be tricky. Contact the owner before you go for the exact directions. Recommended!

A mountain resort with luxury glamping, and a different kind of place to visit in Bali. The ensuite tent has a room safe and a king-sized bed, with everything you need for a stay. Bring your own toiletries if you don’t want to use tablet soaps, and bring shampoo and conditioner. The staff are very helpful and arranged trips around the area to suit individual needs, with local guides. You can choose jungle trekking, waterfall visits, or walks around the rice terraces.
