Santya Loka Lodge & Twin Waterfall

Santyaloka Lodge felt warm and welcoming, right in the heart of Jatiluwih with a breathtaking view straight over the rice fields. Waking up to the peaceful greenery of Jatiluwih Rice Terraces made the stay feel calm and authentic. The staff were kind and attentive, and the reservation team got us into one of the best rooms, room no. 4. It was clean and comfortable, and the hot water worked perfectly after a day out exploring. One highlight was their lovely dog, 🐶Milo, who came along on our short trek to the twin waterfall. It’s just a five-minute walk on a small path right in front of the balcony. The service and atmosphere exceeded our expectations. We felt well looked after and will definitely come back!

I stayed here last year and really didn’t want to leave. The little porch has spectacular views, especially at sunrise. The rooms were clean and comfy, it’s a perfect base for exploring, and the owners were the kindest, most beautiful people. Great value for money.

The hosts were such a lovely, helpful couple. They sorted out a scooter rental and pointed us toward good local spots. We loved waking up among the rice fields, with the waterfall only a three-minute walk away. We went there every morning for a shower 😅. The view was gorgeous, and breakfast, cooked by the host, was delicious. One of our Bali highlights. Thank you 🙏🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️

The rice fields are gorgeous, and the walk down to the waterfall was a highlight. Keep an eye out for the interesting trees along the way. We enjoyed exploring the area, though we ended up leaving a day early because the stay wasn't entirely convenient. The lodge has changed owners recently, and it feels more like a business now than the small family place it once was. Breakfast was fine, the beds were so soft we kept rolling toward the middle, and when heavy rain knocks out the electricity, there's no backup and everything goes dark. There's a 75k-per-person entrance fee when you first arrive. Hold on to the receipt, since you'll need to show it again when coming and going on later days.
