For a cheap homestay hotel in Jember, East Java, it wasn’t too bad. Like elsewhere in Indonesia, though, the maintenance was seriously lacking.

The building is new, it’s clean, and the price is good, so it’d be my first pick for a low-budget stay in Jember. The room design felt awkward, and it isn’t very close to the city center. Wi-Fi is available, but it’s slow.
