Chanteak Bali - Stone House 2

The breakfasts were absolutely delicious, and I loved the peaceful, green surroundings. Chanteak Bali feels like a countryside mansion in Jimbaran, with beautifully designed rooms and a charming, well-kept property. It’s also dog-friendly, which is a big plus if you’re traveling with pets. I did miss having an extra blanket because it got chilly at night, and I wished there had been hot water for the bathtub. Everything else was wonderful, and I hope I can return.

I had a really relaxing stay at these boutique villas in Jimbaran. The grounds are lush and well cared for, and the pool and garden make a lovely open area that you don’t find at many other villas. The location is very quiet, with no development close by. Rooms are roomy and comfortable, with an outdoor bathroom, and all the staff were friendly and helpful.

Please excuse my English, it is not my first language. The room was hotter than the Bali heat, and the AC was bad. The toilet looked bad, the towel was wet, and there was a white stain on the bed. The breakfast had no taste and the portion was small. It seemed like a baby had cooked it.

Jimbaran beach was a lovely place to go, with plenty of restaurants, even though it takes a 20-minute walk to get there. There are no sidewalks on the way, so a scooter would be ideal, and you can rent one nearby. We loved the calm setting, the large pool, and the beautifully kept grounds. The Balinese teak house has lots of space, high ceilings, and a lovely outdoor bathtub. Yoga mats and refillable water bottles were thoughtful extras. Hera and the rest of the staff were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious in the shared garden area, which also has co-working space. A peaceful and memorable stay, 9/10. We’d definitely return if we had the chance.
