Sitting at the restaurant and looking out over the ocean was lovely. We also liked going to nearby Balangan beach for sunset, either on foot or by scooter. The bungalows are charming and spacious, the staff are kind and helpful, and there’s an amazing private beach. It really does feel like a little paradise. The food was our favorite of the whole three-week trip, especially the smoothie bowl, which I got hooked on and had every day. The thick mixed juices were packed with fruit, and the tempeh and avocado poke bowl was so tasty too. This ended up being our favorite place on the trip, and we can’t wait to come back.

I spent five nights in bungalow number 6. The view over the ocean and the rock where fishermen fish was beautiful, and you can hear the sea. The place is great for relaxing, sleeping, and eating. Inside, the room is simple, organic, and cozy. I care a lot about privacy and a nice view so I can fully relax, and the view mattered enough that I didn’t mind hearing people talking by the pool sometimes, since my bungalow was the closest one to it. Other rooms farther away should be quieter. The internet worked on the veranda and at the restaurant, but wasn’t very good in the room. The staff are wonderful, really nice people, and the service is good. There’s a spa nearby with an ocean view, plus a great restaurant in the neighboring hotel below. I also loved the steps down to the ocean, where there’s almost always nobody around. I’ve seen lots of places, and this one is really cool.

The villa feels peaceful and comfortable, with a relaxing atmosphere, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. It’s close to the beach, with direct access down stairs, so it’s easy to go whenever you like. I enjoyed having breakfast by the restaurant and swimming in the nearby pool in the morning. The location is rather far out, though, and the road was dark when we checked in at night. Even so, it was a pleasant stay.

The view was astonishing, and the staff were kind and understanding. We arrived at midnight after a long flight, and the late check-in was very difficult. My husband had to haul one of our bags up far too many stairs. The room was hot and humid because the AC was off. There were ants all over the toilet, a 20cm gecko startled us, and in the morning we found a spider on the bed with us. The bed was uncomfortable, with springs digging into your back, and there was no fridge in the cabane or bottled drinking water provided. We paid $110 for a family room and ended up sleeping with our son in a squeaky 160*200 bed. If you mainly want the view, I’d choose the normal small room. Honestly, $40 is the most I’d pay for this stay. We asked to shorten our stay, and the staff were very understanding and kind enough to charge us for only one night. We left at 12. The road to and from the hotel was very bumpy, just so you know.

The pool was clean and very nice, the garden beautiful, and the Condoes/Bungies lovely. The place is close to the sea and has its own private beach. The staff are very friendly and do their best to make sure you’re satisfied. Milo’s home is a good place to get away from the mayhem in Kuta and Seminyak, and similar spots. It’s about 30 minutes from DPS, and a taxi, Grab, or whatever costs around 100 IDR. I’m really happy to be here and think it’s well worth a visit, whether for a couple of days, a week, or longer. Thanks!
