The way we were treated is why I wouldn't recommend this place. I arrived from the airport at 11 PM, exhausted after a long flight, and at midnight the owner's sons knocked on my door demanding payment. Other places I'd stayed in Bali let me pay at the end. I had planned to stay longer, but paid for one night and left the next morning. There were no towels, hot water, or drinking water, and I had to ask for toilet paper.

The neighborhood feels more local than Uluwatu, with warung and small shops instead of trendy cafes. On a scooter, though, you're close to everything, about 15 minutes from Balangan beach and 20-25 from Uluwatu. I only stayed one night and barely spoke with the owners, but the few interactions were really nice. The place is new, spacious, and clean, just like the booking photos. Wi-Fi and AC both worked perfectly. One of the best value stays I've had in Indonesia.

For the price, I'd call this the best homestay in Jimbaran. It's suitable for a short visit or a longer stay, with clean rooms, cold AC, and a hot shower. There's also a kitchen for preparing meals, but you'll need to bring your own stove and kitchen gear, including a fridge.
