The Open House Bali

The breakfasts were simple and really tasty, and everything else we ate at the restaurant was delicious too. The hotel is clean and cosy, with a good spot near both town and the beach. Staff were kind and paid attention to what I needed. I asked for a fresh coconut, and one was ready the next day. The beach was messy while I was there because of high tide and ocean debris, though that wasn't the hotel's fault. It was a peaceful, lovely place to stay.

The location was handy for seafood, with lots of restaurants along the beach about 100 metres away. Upstairs rooms had more privacy on their balconies, and every room came with a large balcony and day bed. The rooms were compact but laid out well, with a kettle and a small fridge stocked with minibar items. There are little shops nearby if you want your own beer or soft drinks, though most take cash only. The hotel is small and spread over two levels. The pool area was good, breakfast was included and generous, and dinner was fine. The ribs were especially good.

We’ve stayed at open house lots of times in Bali, and it’s always so quiet and peaceful. The seafood we had last night was amazing, and breakfast was great too. That fluffy egg white omelette is hard to beat. My husband prefers an American-style breakfast, and even he was happy, which says a lot. The pool is perfect, the welcome massage is free, and the staff and service are 10 out of 10. They left us a beautiful Christmas present this morning.

We went on the trip to Kintamani Lake view and Tirta Empul Temple, which was fantastic. It’s a good way to explore Bali without the stress, especially if you’re short on time. We also booked the Romance Bali Blessing Package, and everything went perfectly, from the wonderful couple massage to the delicious food. My partner and I had a great stay here. The staff were super friendly and kind. We’ll definitely come back. Thank you!
