For 250 thousand a night, it’s very comfortable, and you get AC and breakfast.

The nights are quiet and dark, while mornings are cool and fresh, with a rural feel. There’s a pavilion in front of the cottage for gatherings. This homestay is aimed at cultural researchers and religious tourists visiting the Majapahit site in Trowulan. It’s run by a local village association. Rooms are clean, though the amenities are simple and minimal, enough for resting or sleeping. Cottage locations vary depending on availability. There’s an outdoor kitchen and a separate bathroom with a toilet. There’s no room service, so you need to cook or bring your own food. Clean water is only for washing and bathing.
