A nice room for a quick rest.

The hotel is in a handy spot in the city center, and booking two nights through the app made it very affordable. I arrived at the end of the kids' school holidays. It’s a budget-friendly choice for backpackers or business travelers who care about keeping costs down, with easy access and friendly service. The place follows Sharia rules strictly, and couples need to show a marriage certificate or ID cards with the same address. Check-in was quick, the place was clean and well-equipped, and the rooms were fairly spacious. It felt peaceful and suitable for families. Hot water and Wi-Fi are generally available, though the TV is an old model. I’ll definitely come back.

I got a very cheap rate, and the place is only about a four-minute drive from the hot spring beach. It feels like a homestay, with no receptionist, so you need to ask the guards for help. The women on guard were friendly. There were lots of people and kids around when we arrived, which made it feel like a real home. We were given room 103, if I remember right. It was really spacious, and so was the clean bathroom. We had to ask for towels and got two; when we ran out of soap, they gave us more. No toothbrush or toothpaste, though. There’s hot water in the bathroom, but no breakfast. Nearby, a place sells tasty nasi uduk and traditional cakes for just 1000. Parking is ample, and drinking water from the gallon is free. The outlet is far from the bed, so you’ll need an extension cord. The TV didn’t work, but I didn’t mind since I didn’t need it. In the morning, after all the other guests had left, we looked at the other rooms and found ours was the most spacious, hehehe.

I booked four rooms through the app and found the service friendly and honest. Given the low price and mediocre look, I hadn't expected much. The lights were dim and the TV was off, but that was fine since we only needed somewhere to rest. Breakfast was available to buy and was quite good. It’s easy to get around from here, close to everything. Pretty good, really.
