There are plenty of things for kids to do, so we were happy spending the whole day at Nava without heading out. The facilities are great, and our room was cool and comfortable with a lovely view. I'd definitely book a balcony room next time too. This was our second stay, and Nava is still our favorite hotel in Tawangmangu. I also want to thank the short-haired woman at the front office. I can't remember her name, but she was kind, friendly, and very helpful. When I lost my tablet at the restaurant, Nava staff had already kept it safe at the front office, and getting it back was easy. I'd be very happy to come back with my family.

The location was easy to reach and well placed, and breakfast had plenty of choices and tasted good. Everyone on staff was friendly and the service was excellent. The deluxe rooms were already fully booked during my first stay, but I'd love to come back for another family holiday. Thanks to all the staff for making it so memorable. Big thanks from room 5102.

The views from the hotel and rooms were breathtaking, especially once the fog cleared. There are lots of places for kids to play and see animals, along with spots that are great for photos. The staff were so welcoming, including the concierge who helped my elderly family member in a wheelchair get to our room comfortably. It's a lovely place for a family stay or for visiting the nearby grobogan sewu waterfalls. Looking forward to another visit, and to seeing the new building and facilities that are said to be finished by the end of the year.

The coto Makassar was especially good at iftar. Most of the dishes were nice, though the ubi goreng could use some work since it was still a little firm in the middle.

Kiki, the duty manager, managed to turn our stay around. After we explained how disappointed we were, she checked and rechecked things, and got us three mountain-view rooms for the next day. We'd booked through Agoda about a month ahead for the hilltop views, but all three of us initially got rooms facing the car park, with reception saying the hotel was full. That was a rough start after flying to Jogya and then driving three hours to Tawangmangu. The mountain-facing infinity pool and courtyard were stunning, with lots of little places to sit and relax. The staff were courteous and helpful, and the hotel feels like more than a 3-star place. A nice escape from the demands of town life.
