Rumah Atsiri Glamping

We booked the recharge program, which came with morning trekking, an aromatic garden tour, and a museum tour. Even with the January rainy season, all the activities went well, and there are plenty of scheduled workshops to choose from too. Ms Allaika was our helpful, informative host, and the whole team was welcoming and courteous. We had a warm, comfortable stay at Atsiri Glamping and would love to come back.

We stayed in the Rosemary Bunk, which was cozy and suited four people well. The room was comfortable, though sounds from outside did come through. The service was excellent: our hosts, Kak Yesse, Kak Allaika, Kak Ningsih, Kak Rizal, Kak Al, and Kak Sholeh, were polite, informative, and very accommodating. It’s a lovely spot for a peaceful escape and taking things slowly, with activities on site. Getting around nearby places is a bit difficult without a car. Food choices are somewhat limited, but the restaurant is reliable. They’re strict about last order times, though the daily WhatsApp reminders are helpful.

The food and drinks were nothing particularly special, and some items cost too much. Still, the place is a pleasant spot to unwind, with distinctive architecture, a lively natural setting, activities, and access to the outdoors. The glamping area itself is small, but parking is spacious, service is good, and security and privacy are assured. For me, it’s the best glamping in Central Java, especially in Tawangmangu.

We stayed in the Palmarosa Tent, and it was spacious, private, very clean, and thoughtfully designed. The bedroom is up in the attic, with a cozy living area and a bathroom with a bathtub downstairs. Atsiri’s signature essential oil products make the whole tent smell amazing. Service was excellent throughout. Our host, Allaika, was responsive and helpful with the arrangements and activities, and the other staff were friendly and attentive. The package included welcome herbal drinks, dinner and breakfast, access to the aromatic garden and museum, and a guided morning trek around the village. Fresh mountain air and lovely scenery made a great start to the day. We also added an ATV ride through scenic rural trails, with village views and greenery. It was a fun bit of adventure alongside the relaxing stay. The food was surprisingly good too, flavorful and nicely presented, with a healthy touch that suited the wellness theme. Atsiri Glamping makes a memorable getaway if you want nature, wellness, and a little adventure together.
