Jamboo Budget Hotel

Charina at reception was helpful and informative, and kindly pointed out some places. The valet staff were responsive too. The service was extraordinary for the price. A few things could be better: confirming reservations, the bathroom lock, and towel cleanliness. I found several black stains on my towel and asked to have it changed.

There’s no hotel restaurant or room dining, but several good places to eat are within walking distance. The room itself is simple, functional, and fairly clean and tidy. Voices from the hallway carry clearly into the room, though, so the soundproofing isn’t great. If you arrive by car, free valet parking is available since the hotel has no parking area. Service was friendly, fairly quick, and attentive.

The big, clean bathroom could use better drainage, since an odor can come through. The room is spacious, but there’s no table or chair for office work, which I’d normally expect in a hotel. It’s a clean, cheap business hotel near shopping, so food and snacks are easy to find. There’s a large parking area nearby, and valet service lets you leave your car at the lobby for them to park. Overall, I had a pleasant stay.

My room was small and had no window, but if you only need a budget place to rest, this might suit you. It’s on the well-known Jl. Dhoho, not far from Station Kediri. I had an issue with the door key system, but the staff resolved it quickly.
