Ari La Homestay

I was greeted with snacks and drinks when I arrived at this comfortable homestay. The host is welcoming and very helpful. My room was cleaned every day and came with a mosquito net, so I didn’t get bitten. The host even took me out on his scooter to see some amazing spots nearby.

After a month traveling around Bali, this was our favorite hotel / Homestay. It’s quiet and away from the tourist crowds, but still close enough to everything. The place was immaculate, breakfast was delicious and generous, and the host was always available and keen to help. The wood carving right onsite was beautiful and fairly priced. Awesome place to stay, can’t recommend it enough!

The host was gracious and kind, and went out of his way to make sure my needs were met. The room was comfortable and beautifully apportioned, though a bit small. He arranged a rental on a brand new motorbike and shared great tips for exploring the area. Breakfast was generous and delicious. Another guest behaved disruptively for a long time. The host handled the situation competently and professionally, even taking on some costs to help us feel comfortable and secure. I’d give this place my highest recommendation.

Three nights here was the best decision I made during my time in Ubud. The place was calm, the owner was veryyyy kinddd, and the room and fancy breakfast both went beyond what I expected for the price on the booking sites. The hospitality was superb, and the fresh breakfast was delicioussss. The host helped with my laundry at no extra charge and gave me a wooden box as a gift. Suksma bli, suksma Ari La!!
