The room was in poor shape, with a strong unpleasant smell. The pillows smelled too, and the AC had a musty, unmaintained odor. I also ordered spicy nasi goreng through room service and clearly asked for it spicy, but it came completely bland. At check-in, the front desk staff were unfriendly and unprofessional. I arrived first and was already being helped, but they asked me to step aside so another guest could check out. I believe I was there first. My stay was a deep disappointment and fell well below the standard I expected.

There are good breakfast options, though the taste is standard. The room I had didn't have a very good view from the window. Getting into the bathroom, watch your step so you don't stumble, and I didn't find the shower comfortable. The location is close to food, cafes, and MTQ park, which is just a walk away.

The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and the carpet covering the whole floor was nice. The room was good, but though they present it as luxurious, it felt dated. The AC was too cold. There were no windows or views for guests, since the building is around a shopping area. The hot water didn't work, breakfast was disappointing, and the service was foul.

My friend and I stayed at the horison hotel for two weeks, and it was quite lovely, especially the customer care. Hundra, one of the workers there, made sure I was as comfortable as possible and was very reliable whenever I needed customer care.

The location is strategic, and the room is quite spacious and clean. Service was good too. The parking area isn't very large, and the elevator is a bit small.
