I had a difficult time booking online while Swiss-Belhotel Kendari was full for conferences, so I called the front desk. Mita stayed calm, showed real care and professionalism, coordinated with her team, and managed to find me a room. It was spacious and relaxing. All the front desk staff were courteous and helpful, and Mita is a real asset to the hotel. I stayed November 27-Nov 29, 2025, and I'm grateful for her help. I'll gladly come back and will remember how she helped me. Appreciation from, Anwar Dirie

The front door security staff were polite and especially helpful. At check-in, Mita at the front desk gave me a friendly welcome and made everything smooth with her courteous, professional manner. She's an asset to the hotel.

The location is fantastic, close to the well-known gift shop Mubarak, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Service was great, and the food was okay, though the breakfast steamboat was something. My main problem was the dust in the carpet, which I couldn't see but could feel. I sneezed nonstop from what was likely allergies, and it really affected the stay. They should consider hard flooring, such as wood, or a good HEPA filter. The Wi-Fi was the weakest I've had at any Swissbel in Indonesia, despite staying at many of their hotels around the country. I had to put off several Zoom calls because of it. I could have tethered from my phone, but this is meant to be a business hotel, and Wi-Fi is crucial.

The rooms were good, but I've stayed at other two or three star hotels with much better service. The staff weren't welcoming, and no one gave me the usual information about Wi-Fi, facilities, or breakfast hours. They also didn't help with my luggage or offer to. Overall, service was below expectations.

I asked for a non-smoking room but got one that smelled of smoke and had terrible air circulation. I could barely breathe.
