For the price, it was an average hotel. It has around 200 rooms in an older style, plus a large hall for weddings and other events. The parking area is too narrow for events, though, and the entrance is a tight fit for two cars. There are toilets outside, and their cleanliness was average.

There’s a resort-like feel to the building, and the parking area is fairly spacious. During the high season, though, it couldn’t fit all the guests’ cars. The room was a letdown, very humid and musty as soon as we walked in, apparently because there’s no proper ventilation. The Wi-Fi was unreliable too.

It’s the biggest hotel in the area, and has facilities like a convention hall and swimming pool. But hygiene needs more attention, and the staff and housekeepers need more hospitality training. The rate feels expensive for that level, though perhaps it’s the only hotel available nearby. It’s behind a gas station, with an entrance that’s very narrow and easy to miss in normal traffic.

It’s a good two-star hotel. The room was clean, the large mattress was comfortable, and all the facilities worked. Wi-Fi was a little slow but okay, and breakfast was okay too. Keep in mind it’s about 20 km from central Malang. With the road construction going on, it took me 40 to 60 minutes to get into the city.
