2BR Villa Violetta - Minggu Villas

We spent seven nights here and really liked the villa. The rooms were lovely, the beds comfortable, and the pool was just right for swimming laps, which I did each day. The staff were very helpful and great to deal with. Petra, our host, is such a kind, lovely person. For us, the one drawback was the location. We prefer staying closer to the beach.

We loved the huge pool and how peaceful the villa was. No barking dogs or crowing roosters, which you often hear in Bali. The staff were fantastic and quick to respond, and we were completely happy with our stay. We're heading to Raja Ampat for ten days and have already booked this villa again for when we return. For getting around, I'd suggest renting a scooter or using a go-kart or Grab.

I had a really nice two-night stay. The place was well looked after, from the room and bed to the clean pool. The bathroom facilities were fully equipped too. Sorry I didn't take many photos, hehe...

The villa's understated decor is tasteful, and the big living room opens right onto the pool, making the space comfortable. The bedrooms are roomy, the beds very comfortable, and the bathrooms are spacious too. Housekeeping was efficient and excellent, which was especially welcome since the kitchen sink isn't very practical for washing dishes. There are a few things that could be better: not much natural light reaches the garden and pool, and an outdoor barbecue, a kitchen oven, a garden table, and more than two sun loungers would be useful for a villa set up for four. Netflix wasn't available, and the other channels were poor quality. The location is handy, with shops and restaurants within 500 meters, though the beach is quite far away. We can't wait to come back next year :)
