Amore Villas

The free shuttle into Canggu came in handy. Even though the beach is close, walking there from the villa isn't safe because of the road. Breakfast was delicious, and the pool area felt idyllic, with a few families around. It seems well suited to families. Adi picked us up at the airport and was genuinely lovely, helpful, and knowledgeable about the area. The team was accommodating with our late check-in and the pickup. Our stay was nice largely thanks to the villa staff, though the tired-looking fittings and bathroom took away from it. The bed area was clean when we arrived, but the bathroom had sand all over, including in the tub and sinks. Since it's open air and there are substantial building works behind the villa, the dust was probably coming from there. That's hard to avoid, but the room should have been checked before we arrived. The team cleaned it right away when we mentioned it, then cleaned it again that afternoon. Still, the sand started accumulating again. The construction also gets noisy on weekdays, starting around 8am. Thanks to the whole team, especially Adi, for looking after us.

The extensive breakfast is served across the street, and the staff were very helpful. We stayed as a family of eight in one villa, with our own private area and swimming pool. It felt like a peaceful oasis in a busy part of the city. In the daytime heat you can take a GRAB taxi or catch the shuttle from the entrance every 20 minutes, though the beach is walkable too. With Bali traffic being so bad, these villas make a good base. You can walk to the lively places nearby, and the location is fantastic. The villas are beautiful too, with a private pool and a separate area to relax.

We spent ten days here as a family and loved it. My husband worked remotely, and the internet was good enough for him to do that. The villa had plenty of space, and the location was amazing, with the beach, beach clubs, restaurants, and a supermarket all within walking distance. The service really stood out. The staff were so helpful and handled all our requests wonderfully. Special thanks to I Ketut Ardana for all the help and that smile. We’ll come back.
