Susi from the owners’ staff was really kind and helpful, and the villa is spacious. We mostly used it just to sleep since we were out for much of the day, so the condition didn’t bother us too much. Still, it could be a wonderful place if the owner gave it more attention. There are lots of maintenance issues: paint is needed, the bedroom laminate floors are due for replacement, the bathroom tap is loose and the bath faucet leaks. Some poolside stones are broken, and the furniture feels outdated. The listing says it was renovated in 2022, but I really doubt that since there’s nothing showing it. I booked through Airbnb.

The atmosphere is great, with a nice view and a cozy feel. The bedrooms are comfortable, and the living room is spacious, right beside the pool.

The architecture looks amazing, but the place doesn’t feel like it’s in its former glory. Mold and rust are sadly spreading through it.
