For a cheap price, our room was pretty good: clean, with a bathroom that worked well and a hot shower. The place is quiet, apart from friendly Sandy the cat regularly coming to beg for food. My advice: head to ubud monkeyforest, grab some of the angriest monkeys, bring them back to dhita kubu in a bag, and put them in the fridge. When Sandy comes begging, take out a monkey, whack him on the head, scoop out the brain with a spoon and feed it to her. Then you’ll have a happy, quiet cat for a few hours. If she comes back, repeat with another grumpy monkey. Run out of monkeys? Take another trip. You’re welcome.

The owner was fantastic, and the rooms were great. There’s a kitchenette provided, too. Absolutely fantastic place to stay in Bali, I’d highly recommend it.

I’ve been living in the old building for over 2 years now. The owner is amazingly nice, responds quickly, and is helpful. They have a new buiding now, too. Definitely recommended!
