The room was tidy, really well designed, and roomy enough to feel at home. It came with a mini fridge, and there’s a nice kitchen if you want to cook. The pool is a good size for an actual swim, and there’s a gym too. I got my laundry back in a day, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. The reception also gave me nice suggestions for places nearby. It’s a bit outside the city, which makes it really quiet, but it was easy to get a Grab or Gojeck wherever I wanted to go. I loved my time here and honestly wish I could’ve stayed longer than three nights.

The location made things difficult: there was a noisy, dirty construction site right in front, and the neighbors were loud at night. The villa felt much too expensive for what we experienced. It’s a large place with three rooms and bathrooms, and the living room is spacious. The air conditioning worked well and quietly, and the pool is nice and big, though patched holes and paint touch-ups were easy to see. The condition overall was old, worn, and very dirty. When we arrived on Saturday evening, the floors were filthy everywhere, and our feet turned black after walking around for a few minutes. No one cleaned on Sunday; after we complained, it was cleaned on Monday. It may have been a great villa ten years ago, but it urgently needs renovation. The water well had broken away and seemed to be left unrepaired. A table in our room looked ready to fall apart, as did the faucet. The old plastic cutting board was heavily used and dirty. If all that sounds acceptable, go for it. It wasn’t for us.

The staff were really friendly and accommodating, and the rooms and facilities were nice. It was easy to order Grab food, with shops close by. Good value, and easy to find!

The location, staff, and amenities were all top tier, and everything else was fine. Having a restaurant on site with a limited menu was handy when I didn’t want to go far. The downside is it feels like it’s in the middle of nowhere, so you have to walk a bit to reach a decent restaurant or supermarket. As a solo traveler, that was a problem when the restaurant shut at 7:30 and I had to head out looking for food.
