Kanitri Villas Seminyak by MERE

We had a perfect 10-night stay. The staff made us feel at home right from arrival, and we loved having breakfast served in the villa every day. Can’t wait to return, thank you! 🙏

The location is really convenient, with plenty of good cafes and coffee shops within walking distance, and the place was clean. It was also easy to communicate with the owner before booking. The staff were amazing, friendly, helpful, and accommodating to what we needed within their limits. We stayed from 3-5 Sept 2025, and I’d rate the place 9 out of 10.

The villa is centrally located and has a beautiful pool and outdoor living area, but the outdoor space wasn’t very practical. Mosquitoes were a big problem, and repellents were lit often, which helped to some extent. There’s a construction project right next door, making it hard to get any peace or privacy. Work ran from 08:00 to 21:00, seven days a week. The bed was noisy and hard, not what we expected for the price. A very thin roof let in loud birds and geckos early in the morning, and the bed and mosquito net weren’t very clean. The bathroom sink fixture was completely loose, and the bathroom wasn’t especially clean. It also had no door, which made privacy difficult and inconvenient. We asked for sunbed mattresses and a parasol that were missing when we arrived, but what they brought smelled quite bad and was moldy, so we didn’t use them. We paid quite a lot and had high hopes.

The outdoor area is lovely, the pool is refreshing, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The villa itself has charm. But the major construction site near Villa 10 runs from 8 AM to 9 PM, and the noise makes it hard to relax. Instead of feeling rejuvenated, guests may end up more stressed. The owner should disclose the ongoing work clearly on booking platforms and consider a lower rate to reflect the inconvenience.
