Mokko Suite Villas

The trip there was smooth and enjoyable, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive. When I woke up late, they kindly let me check out a bit later without charging extra. I’ve never had service like that before. Absolutely a must-visit.

We booked three nights in the top-floor villa with a private pool, but left and found somewhere else instead. The Booking.com photos were very outdated. There were no longer rice paddies or a quiet setting. Instead, construction noise came from next door, people could see straight into the pool area, and the view was of an old, crumbling, partly demolished building. There’s also no food or shops nearby. The top-floor room was very run down. The seating cushions were faded and had cigarette burns. There’s no door to the living area, and the window has no glass, so rain can blow in and mosquitoes can get inside. To reach the bedroom, you have to walk outside past the pool. The grass was wet and muddy and needed trimming. There’s no cover, so you get wet walking between the bedroom and living room when it rains. The owner needs to do serious maintenance.

I WANT TO REPORT A MAJOR THEFT: $3,100, 50€, AND MY WIFE’S WATCH. Yesterday, before we left the hotel, we packed our luggage for the morning checkout. We put our money inside the case for our camera. We only realized it was gone at the other airport, when we went to exchange money. The case had been around my neck the whole time. Today I spent 3-4 hours trying to contact the owner or a manager, but the girl at reception refused to let me speak with them. I also reported it to the police station in Kuta. Be very careful if you’re going to book this scam place! And no answer!

Already looking forward to coming back! The establishment is small and tidy, with all the perks. The pool and rooms were beautiful, the food was amazing, and the staff and service were excellent. It’s in a quiet area close to everything you need. Every member of staff made us feel welcome ☺️
