I had Villa Number 5. The small plunge pool was the one positive, a place to cool off. Plenty of guesthouses nearby have the same feature at a fraction of the price and with much better standards. The villa was dirty, moldy, and badly maintained. The air conditioner was full of mold and never worked, even though I asked for it to be fixed on arrival. It blew hot air the whole time. Some lights were out, and the kitchen cabinet was filthy, with fecal matter inside. On Saturday morning, after I’d worked late, the room phone kept ringing until I woke up. When I didn’t answer, staff knocked on my door to get me up for room cleaning, instead of waiting until I’d gone out. It was an upsetting, unnecessary interruption. The staff were polite, but seemed untrained and disorganized. An open storage room full of Styrofoam bags and clutter added to the neglected, unhygienic feel. The property falls short of even basic expectations and doesn’t justify its price.

It’s a quiet spot, with very little outside noise, so it was nice for relaxing. The villa is small, tidy, and hygienic, with a little pool just outside the bedroom and room for two people per room. The staff were polite, kind, and hospitable. There’s parking for motorbikes; if you arrive by car, you may need to use an open space nearby.

Fast internet and a quiet private spot to rest, with a small but decent pool. It has the full set of amenities you’d expect from a small serviced apartment: coffee, tea, a kettle, glasses, plates, a microwave, and a hair dryer. There were clean towels both for showering and for swimming, two types, plus hot and cold water in the shower. Worth visiting.

They came to clean the room every day, which we appreciated. The rooms were a bit smaller than we expected, and the pool could have been cleaned more carefully, since dirt was visible in the corners. Still, it’s a nice place.

I spent a week there and found it quiet and really well located. The staff were lovely and helpful, and the small pool was clean. For current prices around Canggu, it’s reasonable. I recommend it, and hope they keep things this way.
