Umalas Living Managed by CPM Bali Apartments

We found the location great, with pretty much everything a short scooter ride away. My flight was in the evening, and they kindly let me check out late. A couple of small things could be improved. The place gets really hot, and the upstairs AC doesn’t ventilate the whole villa properly, so a second AC would help. The water dispenser near the sink was odd and didn’t work for a while because of a finger sensor issue. It should be replaced with a proper large dispenser, which they’re quite cheap.

There are plenty of restaurants and markets nearby, and Umalas is a handy escape from Canggu traffic. I really liked the modern design and atmosphere, plus the hospitality from CPM Management. Our two-bedroom villa was spacious, private, clean, well-kept, and cozy. We had friends over for a small dinner, and the amenities worked well for it. The staff were courteous and flexible with our plans, and getting to the place was easy. A 9/10 for me, and I’d return when I’m back in the area. Thanks for the warm service.

SCAMMERS! After just one day, they told me to leave the loft immediately, claiming they had sold it that same day. The replacement property was tiny and full of mold. I’ve spent a whole week trying to get my money back, but they refuse to refund me. First they blamed holidays, then promised every day that the money would arrive “today.” Nothing happens. The places look fine in the photos, but in reality things are broken, there’s mold and construction, and the damp smell is strong. Don’t deal with this company or rent from them. They are scammers.

We stayed here for a month, and it was a good spot for a short stay. It’s quiet, clean, and safe, with a modern loft and all the equipment we needed. The pool was quite small for swimming. Staff were very friendly, and our manager Adi was always glad to help sort things out, from water changes to electricity payments and other issues.
