At first Vila looked lovely, with big rooms, nice decor, and plenty of space. But there were quite a few problems once we looked closer. One bedroom had no air conditioning for two nights, and another leaked so badly that water covered the bathroom floor. We visited during monsoon season, but the place still seemed cheaply built and poorly maintained. I wouldn’t stay again, especially during monsoon season.

It was a lovely place with room for a larger group. The last few hours of our stay were disappointing, though: the power went out on our final night, and the owner couldn’t explain why when nearby houses still had electricity.
