Made, the housekeeper, is an absolute gem. She came in every day, kept the villa spotless, and looked after us so well. Nothing seemed like too much effort for her. I've never stayed anywhere so clean, and if I could've taken her home, I would have 😂. We were there for 11 nights in August, and the comfy beds and handy location made it a lovely stay. Even with a busy road at the end of the alley, it was so peaceful inside that we couldn't hear it. I highly recommend Villa Portsea as a relaxing base or somewhere to stay while sightseeing.

We stayed for two weeks and had the best time. Wayan and Made were helpful and accommodating the whole way through, and the hospitality was incredible. The villa was always clean and in a great location. I'd highly recommend it if you're travelling to Bali.

DEK made the stay at Cilla especially fulfilling. She was the best, always trying to do what worked for us, and the owner's responses were quick. The villa itself is luxurious and lovely, though a little old, and it's well maintained. The Wi-Fi worked without any problems, and having a night security guard meant I felt safe in an unfamiliar house. I'd have liked to upload a photo because the villa is wonderful, but the quality is too poor and might spoil the image.

The villa is spacious, and the four of us really enjoyed staying there. The maid made us a delicious breakfast. Since it's only a one minute walk from the main road, we couldn't hear any road noise. The owner and maid were easy to reach on WhatsApp and replied quickly. I'd highly recommend it to anyone visiting Seminyak.

I had a terrible booking experience. I successfully booked a non-refundable room for 6-10 Dec, but later Agoda called to say the property wanted prepayment and would cancel within 24 hours if I didn't pay. Then the property messaged me directly saying the rooms were overbooked and they'd cancel my room. If they were overbooked, why ask Agoda to request prepayment from me? Inefficient, rude, and dodgy. Avoid.
