The Anya Estate villas look modern in the photos and carry a 9+ Booking.com rating, but our stay didn’t match that impression. I found the listing misleading and the property oversold. It doesn’t deserve a 9+ on Booking.com or five stars here. Avoid booking unless Anyar Estate renovates and changes its management. The villa needs urgent renovation and maintenance. The furniture was worn, cushions were torn, and the finishes looked tired. I’m uploading photos because the condition clearly differs from what’s advertised. Wi-Fi didn’t reach the bedrooms, and we were told it only worked outside. An old AC unit made a high-pitched whizzing noise for two nights, keeping us awake; it was fixed on the third night. During rain, a bedroom window leaked heavily and let water into the room. Their fix was to cover the window from outside. Breakfast was very limited and repetitive. There was no water cooler, so we had to fill bottles and put them in the fridge, as Bali water is dangerous to drink. We stayed 9 nights although we’d booked 12. Only after we insisted did they refund the final 3 nights, and they handled it outside Booking.com. They wouldn’t refund the Booking.com commission, so we still lost that amount. On checkout day one of our children had stomach problems, Bali belly, and we asked for a one-hour checkout extension. We knew nobody had booked that day, but the manager refused in case someone booked due to a promotion. That summed up the management attitude for me. I travel regularly and have had 100+ Booking.com stays. This was the worst value for money I’ve experienced.

We had such a relaxing time at this beautiful villa. The pool was stunning, and having a BBQ together there was a real treat. The place was spotless throughout, and the food our favourite Widdy made was out of this world. A big thank you to Jacky, Nigel, and the whole Anyar Estate team. Wally and Stan, the wonderful dogs, also made our stay extra memorable. You helped us make perfect memories, and we’re so grateful. The staff at Villa Anyar were attentive without getting in the way, and the fresh breakfast was absolutely delicious. We spent 9 days there, and from the moment I arrived, it felt like paradise. The garden is beautiful, and the huge pool was a delight to swim in. Inside, the villa felt indulgent, with spacious, grand rooms, very comfortable beds, quality sheets, and bathrooms that were both beautiful and clean. I’d highly recommend Villa Anyar for a relaxing, luxurious getaway. Thanks for an unforgettable stay.

We made so many lovely family memories here, with eight of us staying together. The garden and pool were wonderful, and everything was spotless. The villa felt welcoming and homely, and the staff were truly amazing. Thank you all for your lovely smiles. We’ll miss you 😄

We had an amazing eight days at Moyo Villa, from 1st-10th August, and are already planning another trip for 2025. There were three bedrooms, each with a private indoor/outdoor bathroom, plus a spacious lounge, dining area, and kitchen that fit us all comfortably. Breakfast was incredible, cooked every day in our villa kitchen. The team bought anything we wanted, so we didn’t have to go out for it. Everyone was wonderful, and Jackie and Nigel had thought of everything when designing this little piece of paradise. Our only complaint was having to leave. Thank you both for a trip we’ll remember.
