Bloomfield Umalas

We've stayed here several times and have never been disappointed. It's great value, and the comfortable beds and pillows come with a mosquito net, so you sleep like a baby. This family-run boutique hotel feels like a home away from home. The rooms are arranged around two lovely pools and an outdoor dining area, where you can have breakfast and chat with friends or other guests. Dinner and a drink there are a nice break from the hustle and bustle. Restaurants and shops are within walking distance, and it's well placed for Seminyak or Canggu. The staff are lovely and make it easy to relax, nothing seems too much trouble. You can ask for a massage, and they'll arrange it with half an hour's notice. It rained day and night on my last visit, just a week ago, so I stayed at the hotel until the rain let up. The coffee was great, and the owners' son made a perfectly prepared Bloody Mary ☺️

I love staying here. It's a peaceful little haven, with Canggu and Seminyak both easy to reach whenever I feel like going out. The staff are lovely, the food is superb, and the fresh salads and breakfast are delicious. When it's available, I always book the same large room by the pool. The pool area is ideal for unwinding, reading, or ordering a cocktail or two. A rare find in Bali, and it feels like home.

It's a quiet, intimate little hotel in a great location, with lovely staff who took care of everything I needed. The facilities are well maintained, and the owners are incredibly caring. I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else and will definitely return.

I've been coming to Bali for over a decade, and this is honestly the best place I've stayed. The rooms are roomy and comfortable, the staff are so friendly, and the pool is heaven. The food made in house is delicious too. Can't fault it, it's my regular spot now.
