My wife and I have been travelling around Bali on our honeymoon and stayed at eight different places. We understand that Bali hotels can be different, but this place was another level. The nature is lovely and the hot spring pool is pretty cool, but I’d suggest staying elsewhere and making the hot springs a day trip. Bring food if you do. The staff, like 99.9% of Balinese people, were very friendly and welcoming. Still, it was a huge disappointment and a major health risk. We got sick after a raw dinner on our first night, and there are no local restaurants within walking distance. There was no Grab or Gojek either, so we lived on convenience store snacks and had to hire a hotel taxi to get food 30 minutes away. They wouldn’t refund our food. At night, rats and mice ran over our clothes and suitcases. We kept washing our hands and still felt filthy. The room was dirty, including the sheets, towels, and robes. I could smell the last person, so they didn’t seem to have been washed. There were exposed wires everywhere.

The online photos didn’t do this place justice. It’s an absolute treat, and my partner, who joked that he wanted a pool bar or nothing, had a great time after I booked it. If you love purple, it’s a must. I hadn’t realized there was a hot springs park too, so that was a nice surprise. It’s a little dated, which adds to the charm. Especially worth a visit if you’re doing the sunrise hike.
