We were in the Deluxe Room, the only one of the four rooms upstairs. It gets better sunlight, but you can hear a lot of road noise. Carvings above the windows and doors mean the room isn’t sealed off from outside, so it isn’t noise insulated and some insects get in too. Still, it’s a very special place to stay.

The room was big and very clean, with hot water, and the breakfast from mamak was delicious. It’s good value, too. The building has a Bali design, and the location is strategic, with a walkable route to watch the sunrise from Batur.

The service was really satisfying, and the architecture is classy, with an old style and wooden furniture. The place is right in front of museum geopark.

The room was small, but enough to sleep in. The bathroom window blind was broken and wouldn’t cover the window, so we had to block it ourselves with newspaper.

The receptionist was so kind and humble. I love this place and highly recommend staying here.
