We spent three days and two nights at Villa Dangka with our family, and found it peaceful, comfortable, and relaxing. Kintamani is naturally cool and quiet, and during our mid-December visit it wasn’t crowded, which made it especially easy to slow down and rest. It’s a simple, homey place, not luxury, but well kept and very reasonably priced for what you get. The bathroom hot water worked well in the cool weather. We also liked having Netflix in the room for our child, especially in the evenings. The hot spring pool was a pleasant surprise. The owner told us it’s cleaned every two days in rainy season to keep the water clean and comfortable for guests, which showed a lot of care. It’s convenient for catching sunrise on a jeep tour, and arrangements were easy to make. Ibu Dangka was kind and helpful throughout our stay. One small area-related issue: in rainy season, there are quite a few fruit flies around the rooms in the morning. It seems to be a Kintamani condition rather than something specific to the villa. A calm, heartfelt place for families or anyone wanting cool weather and a quiet break.

The hot pool was my favorite part, such a good place to soak and unwind after a long day. Villa Dangka is comfortable, easy to find, and works really well for a get-together with friends or family. There are plenty of dishes on the menu too, so eating there is an easy option. A very convenient place to stay.

The owners made us feel like family, and nothing seemed like too much trouble. The rooms were really spacious and clean, and the hot spring pool was blissfully soothing and clean. It felt like the real Bali. It’s also a handy base for a mountain climb or a wander around the village to see local life.

The staff were so kind and quick to handle anything we asked for. They even filled the pool whenever we got back, and the food was great too. Kintamani has lots of flies, but the accommodation kept them out, and there were only little flies around the beautiful pool after sundown. We didn’t see any ants in our room. Lake Batur is close, with a couple of warungs about a 10-minute walk away.

The peaceful, secluded setting in Kintamani was a real escape from the bustle. The mountain air and surrounding nature made a strong impression, and the views were stunning. I loved relaxing by the pool and in the outdoor lounge area. The villa itself was modern, roomy, and very clean. Our hosts were welcoming and ready to help. ❤️ I’d happily recommend a stay here. 😇
