The room had an old, musty smell, but I can't complain much since this is the only decent hotel and restaurant in town. It's in a great spot for a jog by the bay in the morning or afternoon. You'll need to ask the front desk to unlock the gym, and breakfast was standard but decent.

Breakfast was just okay, especially the croissant and coffee. My room was beside the swimming pool, so I couldn't enjoy the sea view from my window, even though the hotel faces the sea. The room itself was okay, the towels were great, and both hot and cold water worked well. It was considered the best hotel in town.

There's not much to do by the sea besides look at the scenery, and the hotel is far from convenience stores. The rooms are okay, but ants are all over, and the TV is mounted so high it's almost touching the ceiling. Food isn't up to the level of other 4-star hotels, though it's good enough considering this is the only 4-star hotel in town. Still, simply the best hotel in Kolaka.

Sutan Raja is still the best hotel in Kolaka so far. The toilet and bathroom were clean, there was wifi and hot water in the shower, and a swimming pool for both adults and kids. Nice people, too. You can order from the menu, and breakfast is included at the restaurant.

I stayed here for a month, from July 22 - Aug 22, and it felt like home. The staff were friendly and really helpful, breakfast was awesome, and my room got cleaned every day. Laundry was ready within 6 hours every time, never let me down.
