Abwonderdive-Bali Dive Resort

The team at AB Wonderdive Bali know their stuff and are so kind. They went out of their way to make diving feel safe and comfortable, and the whole experience was a lot of fun. I’d happily recommend it and plan to come back.

The dive sites are fantastic, and it works well for beginners as well as experienced divers. The staff were great, and this eco-friendly dive resort is well worth a visit on a Bali dive trip.

We spent nearly three weeks at AB Wonderdive and had a good stay. The diving was excellent, especially the macro, and Yudi and Adi were terrific guides. We really enjoyed diving with you both. Our jr villa no.3 was clean, roomy and nicely decorated, with a spacious veranda and a pleasant outdoor bathroom. There was a glimpse of the sea, though a small Hindu temple on the beach in front of the villas means the view may be less open than you expect. The food was good, mostly geared toward Western visitors. My wife would have liked more local, spicy dishes, babi guling for example. I especially liked the chicken schnitzel burger and Aioli pasta. On our last day, Alice and Bjorn, the AB Wonder owners, suggested a trip to the Lampuyang temple and Langhan sweet. The views over Mt.Angung and the valley were lovely for photos. Go early to avoid crowds and long waits. We finished with a Balinese lunch at Bali Asli restaurant, which had excellent local food and a spectacular view. A great end to our holiday, and a good resort for diving around Kubu.

We planned a week and wound up adding extra nights because we liked it so much. Lisa, Adi and Yudi helped us feel safe while diving, and we had a blast exploring the house reef and nearby sites. They know a lot about marine life and the environment. Alice, Bjorn and the rest of the staff were lovely and helpful throughout. The rooms were beautiful, the ocean view was great, and the food was good. We miss it already and hope we can return someday 🌟
