The food, view and atmosphere all came together beautifully and made my birthday getaway feel complete. I stopped at Pebble & Finns to rest during a birthday motorbike trip around Bali, and it ended up being the best stay of my whole trip. After a long ride, the genuinely friendly, helpful staff made me feel welcome right away. My room was so cozy and relaxing that I actually forgot I had to continue the journey. Highly recommend it if you want a peaceful, heartwarming stay in Bali.

We expected better service and management from a resort of this standard. Our stay was overshadowed by basic amenities being unavailable and the ongoing problems getting little response. We checked in on September 20, and the water supply was only available after 5:00 PM each day from the start. On September 22, there was no water during the day at all. We were told a pipe was broken or damaged. We tried to be understanding on the first two days, but the problem continued until checkout on the 25th. We left at 7:30 AM on our final morning with no water. As some of the last guests to leave, it felt as if we’d been left without this basic necessity. I went to the front desk in pajamas with unbrushed teeth and got repeated apologies but no solution. Where was the resort manager? At the very least, they could have left a few bottles of mineral water outside the room for washing in the morning, but nothing was provided. There was no alternative, only “sorry.” Coming back from a dive ready for a refreshing shower, only to find there was no water again, was incredibly frustrating. Management should have taken more proactive steps to deal with this. The shower room was poorly designed too. There was no screen or divider, so showering soaked the whole bathroom floor. The floor mat was drenched and the basin countertop stayed wet. Housekeeping never replaced the wet mat during our stay, even though it clearly needed attention.

For diving, all the sites here are shore dives, and the rental gear was well maintained. The instructors, especially Pam and KK, were great teachers who shared their diving knowledge and made the courses enjoyable. The rooms were clean and well maintained, with facilities including a lap pool. Staff were friendly and ready to help, and service was great. The in-house restaurant was pretty decent and reasonably priced. I’d recommend it.

The views were incredible! The dive guides knew their stuff and really watched out for us on every dive, so we felt safe in their care. The crew at pebble and fins were incredibly attentive. They answered all our questions and helped arrange rides out of the resort for sightseeing. After just one day, they remembered our names and served our food seamlessly. We loved the milkshakes and calamari, and the corn pancakes were so good. They treated me like a queen, LOL.
