Louka Beach Bali

It feels wonderfully quiet and tucked away from busy southern Bali, with a big green property right on the beach and unmatched views. There’s plenty to do, from the pool and darts to kayaking, SUP, and snorkeling. The food was delicious, and the unlimited breakfast at any time of day was such a treat, whether in the restaurant, on the balcony, or floating. Louka Beach Bali has a fun boho-luxury feel, mixing modern comfort with stylish design and thoughtful touches. Every room has a coffee machine and water cooler, which made things easy. A lovely, peaceful escape.

The houses are cute, with nice design and decor, but lizards and bugs can get into the bedrooms, and the open-air bathrooms let animals and insects in too. That doesn’t feel like a 5-star experience. There’s also little of interest nearby, including restaurants, so you’re pretty much confined to the resort. The road between the main road and the resort is very uncomfortable to drive. Staff and service were good, but this place is definitely not the 5-star accommodation it’s advertised as.

We loved how relaxed and welcoming Louka Villa felt. There aren’t strict rules, so you can settle in and enjoy the place like it’s your own little paradise. It was quiet and just right for unwinding. The whole setting is beautiful, lush, peaceful, and full of charm. The pool was great for lounging at any time of day. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and the owner was kind and open, adding to the warm atmosphere. It was one of the most beautiful places we’ve visited, and we had an amazing stay. I’d recommend it to anyone wanting a unique, warm, peaceful escape in Bali.

Breakfast is available whenever you like, which meant no alarm clock was needed. The restaurant also serves lunch, dinner, and snacks until 23:00. Catherine and Laurent, the hosts, and the rest of the team were so kind and helped make our stay remarkable. This new resort was built on the beach in 2022 and fits beautifully with Bali style. The bungalows are charming and have everything you need to be comfortable. Online photos can’t capture how beautiful the place is in person. It really feels like paradise.
