The refund ended up being canceled, and sorting that out took time. I felt misled and was really disappointed: I had booked and paid through Agoda, and although a room appeared to match our request, staff said it was fully booked when we arrived. They then offered an upgrade. If there was no room, the owner should have shown that honestly so customers could decide for themselves. I’m fed up with booking here. Better to avoid staying here, and I’m sharing this so others don’t have the same experience.

I was coming from out of town and was disappointed to learn the hotel management and booking app were no longer working together, even though I had reserved through the app. Fortunately, I found a room somewhere else.

There was no apology when I arrived and was told the place was fully booked, despite having booked and paid through Oyo. The innkeeper's chat was unfriendly too. I checked Traveloka and it still showed availability, which was strange. I was already exhausted and had my child with me. Customers shouldn't be treated that way.

Agoda showed my booking, but when I got there they turned me away. They said they no longer worked with OYO because the app price was too low and left them feeling at a disadvantage. After I canceled, the only solution they offered was to pay extra. Hmmm, the service was very poor.
