You get a very cheap rate, but the service has no surprises. I booked a double bed and got twin beds instead. The furniture was a little dusty, and the TV had no clear channels. There’s no breakfast and you can’t order one, though motorcycle rental is available and parking is outside the hotel. The view is buildings all around. In the room there’s a small cupboard or wardrobe, mirror, AC, TV, and a chair outside the door. Toiletries include shampoo and soap, but no towel or toothbrush and paste. You also get a welcome snack, water heater, safety box, and refrigerator, though I didn’t check whether the last two worked. The water dispenser is on the second floor. There’s a pool, but the water leaves your skin feeling sticky.

We booked three days, but the place was so filthy and unhygienic, with a murky pool, that we left within an hour without staying a night. It was absolutely disgusting. We spent over a week fighting the owners, Corrie and Agung, for a refund. They finally gave it to us on the condition that we didn’t write a review. I couldn’t leave others without warning them about the appalling state of the place. Do not go!

The air conditioning was fantastic, and the price was very affordable. But our room was quite dirty and clearly hadn’t been cleaned, and the water from the pipes smelled. Sorry this is my first bad report, but I have to be honest.

The room was fairly big, and the ambient lighting made it comfortable enough to stay up at night, wondering if you’re alone in there. Go ahead and open the big, scary clothes drawer, it might take you to an unknown world. The hallway is dark, there’s no hot water, and the old TV gets only one channel. The lighting in both the room and hotel leaves you guessing. Does Count Dracula live here?
