Aryaduta Bali

The rooms were bright, very clean, and generous in size, including both the bedroom and bathroom. I’d come back for a longer stay next time. The breakfast was still good, though I think the food selection and quality could improve, especially with competition between Bali hotels being so tough and the hotel carrying a five-star rating.

I appreciated how clean and well-kept the rooms at Aryaduta Bali were, but the service fell short of what I expected from a five-star hotel. We'd booked a room with a balcony online and were assigned one without it. That was frustrating, since we had to leave the building to smoke after paying for the convenience of a balcony. On arrival, nobody greeted us at the entrance or showed us to the room, so we had to find our way through the long hallways ourselves. The bathroom also had no conditioner, and breakfast offered very few options for non-vegetarians, with almost no protein. I expected more attentive service, the room type we booked, basic amenities, and more variety in the food.

Having Lippo Mall right next door was handy for late-night snacks. The rooms were huge, and the rooftop infinity pool overlooking the ocean was a real highlight, especially with its swim-up bar for a cocktail while watching a Bali sunset. A great mix of luxury and relaxed vibes.

At 12:30 a.m. on 8/5/2026, a man from room 2203 knocked repeatedly, then pounded hard on my door, 2206. I opened it and he started shouting, so I shut it immediately. Three minutes later they were back, banging and yelling outside. I called the operator for help, but the noise got louder. A few seconds after my next call, I asked them to come faster because I felt threatened. I watched through the peephole. The couple went quiet when staff arrived. When I opened the door again, the woman started shouting nonstop. I told them that if they didn't like my TV being on at night, they could move away. As I closed the door, she tried to push it open and break into my room. Duty manager Bimbing and another staff member, Ano, witnessed her trying to force her way in. I didn't open the door again. I later went to the counter to ask how this was resolved, but the duty manager seemed to side with the couple and kept saying they hadn't done anything wrong, just that my TV at night disturbed them. I felt the hotel's security was not tight and outsiders could get to the guest rooms without restricted access. The duty manager only suggested moving the angry couple, then left me to deal with the situation on my own.
