Bali Dynasty Resort

We stayed for 12 nights with our two little ones, aged 2 and 4, and they loved the funny towel animals the staff left in our room every day. Our level 3 room looked out over the lagoon pool. Around the resort, we spent plenty of time at the splash park and main pool, and feeding the fish and ducks by the main lobby. There was daily pool entertainment too, including bingo one day and tug of war another. The commentary was fun to watch and listen to. We ate at two resort restaurants and really enjoyed the food. Breakfast had lots of choices, and the staff were very accommodating about our dairy and soy requirements. We only had to ask, and they were happy to help. You don't really need to leave the resort. We'll be back, it's a great family place for young and old.

We had a lovely week at Bali Dynasty resort. The staff are kind, the food has lots of options, and there's something happening around the pool each day. My husband enjoyed volleyball, then beer and pizza with the team. The sunken bar had good music and a nice atmosphere, and I had a great foot rub by the pool. The kids club works well for under 10s, while older kids can use the games room. The one drawback was the construction noise, with banging from 9am onward. I understand work has to happen, and low season is the time for it, but it could spoil a daytime nap in the room. Maybe ask before booking. Apparently Dynasty often has workers around cleaning or doing other jobs. Despite that, it was fabulous, and we'd return.

The grounds are well presented, and the rooms were very nice, if a little musty. There's plenty of food to choose from, including gluten-free options, and the place feels safe and easy. For families, the pool area is a big draw, with a large slide and play space where kids can spend hours. Activities are regularly scheduled, and even the early teens liked the kids club, giving us parents a bit of time to ourselves. The staff were fantastic throughout. We'd stay again.

The Kids Club was the highlight of our stay. The carers were warm, kind, and genuinely caring, with activities running from morning to evening. My daughter cried whenever I came to pick her up because she didn't want to leave. The Kids Club team gets a definite 10/10 from me. Breakfast was lovely too, with a big range and something for everyone. The rooms, though, felt muggy and were smaller than at other resorts we've visited. The old bathroom had visible mould, and the floors got very slippery at night. We were due to check in at 3pm but didn't get our room until 4:30pm. They said it was because we'd asked to be next to my sister in law, but I wasn't convinced. Other guests who arrived later were checked in quickly and offered welcome drinks. We waited more than two hours without any drinks; after nearly three hours, Dayo, who was checking us in, said we could get welcome drinks at the bar because we'd waited so long. It was disappointing not to be offered them on arrival, and I found Dayo quite rude, which made the wait more frustrating. There were some disappointing parts, but the kids club and breakfast were definite bright spots.
