Febri's Hotel & Spa

After being recommended Febris Spa last year, I went two or three times. I’m in South Kuta atm and staying nearby, so I’ve been getting massages every 2 to 3 days. It’s a great place. The ladies are professional, the room is cool and clean, and it smells so nice. All the staff are great. Ani has looked after me for my last few massages, and she’s a lovely lady. It’s worth paying a bit more, especially as the massages are 1.5 hrs. I feel lucky to have found this place. One last treatment on Thursday before we head to Legian. Thank you everyone at Febris Spa. A great budget-friendly option in Kuta. The room was clean and had what we needed, and the shower and bathroom were a decent size with everything working. The pool area is lovely, though a little shade over the main pool would help since there’s virtually none in the middle of the day. Every staff member we interacted with was exceptional. The front desk worker was greeting me by name on day 2. On our first night, the power went out while we were back from dinner. We tried to sleep through it while the room was still somewhat cool, but after 45 minutes of tossing and turning I went downstairs to ask when it might be fixed. The staff member immediately acknowledged it could still take a few hours and offered to move us to another room with power for the night. We’ll definitely be back.

We had an amazing stay over Christmas and New Year. The pool was nice and quiet until just before we left, so we got to swim and relax each day. The staff were lovely and welcoming, even when chekcing in at midnight. Our Family Room was spacious and had what we needed for 4 people. For a 14 night stay, softer beds would’ve helped, and the fridge could seal better. The room was otherwise great, the air con was incredible, and the daily servicing was nice. We’d have preferred they didn’t put back the blanket we removed each day. The restaurant food was good but basic Western food only. I wouldn’t recommend the Nasi or Friend Noodles, they had no flavour and didn’t taste authentic, but the Chicken Satay was so good we kept ordering it. The spa was a bit disappointing. When we first tried to book, they laughed and said they were too busy, and could only fit 2 people in for 45 minutes max. We later tried the 90 minute Lomi Lomi massage. It was relaxing but not strong at all; the staff were busy chatting, and it didn’t feel any better than the local Carla Spa or La Risso, despite costing three times as much.

The massage was just right, and my friend and I left feeling really relaxed. We soaked in the little pool or hot tub first and had wraps too. They were careful with our belongings.
