Fora Capsule Hostel Tuban Kuta

I usually avoid hostels and book hotels when travelling around Asia, including Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, and Malaysia. On my last day in Bali, though, my usual resort was full and only the expensive Royal Suites were available, so I tried this hostel instead. It was a wonderful surprise. The cleanliness standards really impressed me, and the bed was big, roomy, and comfortable. I met lovely people from all over, especially a nice group from Italy. It ended up being my best day in Bali. Next time I visit, I'll come straight back here. Highly recommend it.

The place was clean and comfortable, and conveniently close to the airport. The staff were friendly, but didn't help much when my brand new Xbox controller went missing from my locker, which had been shut. I told them at around 9 pm, and they couldn't look for it until the next day. The bathroom had just one sink, and the toilets and shower stalls were small. Without the theft, I would have stayed here on my way home.

Calm, relaxing atmosphere and very kind staff. It was clean and comfortable. The airport is within walking distance, though the walk may be really rainy in wet season, so bring a poncho. This was in early January 2026. An eye mask and earplugs are a good idea.

The hostel is very close to the airport, but my bed was by the window and some guests talked and laughed loudly through the night. I had an early flight, so that wasn't pleasant. The motion-sensor night light was a nice touch, and the curtain is meant to stay closed, so they should improve the soundproofing around the window to keep outside noise out.
