Kemangi Bed & Breakfast

Kuta was easy to get around from here, with a minimarket right next door and lots of restaurants nearby. Kemangi has just four rooms, so it feels private, and everything was well maintained. Our room was spacious, cozy, very clean, and smelled nice. The service was super friendly too. Definitely recommend it for a cozy stay in the heart of Kuta, 10/10 ⭐️

Good value for money, with a big room and lovely staff. Dony was especially helpful to us. The showers could be a bit troublesome at times.

The front desk staff were really friendly and helpful. Donnie even took me to my next place in the village on his own scooter. The location’s handy, right by a large convenience store advertised as open 24/7, though it was closed the night I stayed, so I’m not sure it really keeps those hours. The beach is just steps away, and the town center is a quick walk. I only stayed one night, but the room was large and comfortable. The property has just four rooms. Mine faced a wall, so there was no view or daylight. I guess the other three rooms have better exposure. The restaurant was being renovated, so unfortunately breakfast wasn’t available.

We’ve stayed at Kemangi three times in the last year and a half, and it feels like our home in Lombok now. We came for a week in July 2024, a week in January 2025, and 10 days in July 2025. It’s the first place we check for availability in Kuta. Hendry, Edy, Donny, and the rest of the team take such good care of you. They’re kind, hardworking, genuine, and so helpful. The rooms are VERY spacious, with high ceilings and room for an extra bed, and they’re always clean. In more than 20 nights here, we’ve never even seen a bug. Bathrooms are large too. There’s Netflix and a smart TV, a fridge, a lock box, plus a useful desk and chair and a couch with a side table. I recommend getting a room with the full balcony, it’s a nice place to relax or get work done in the afternoon. The new Italian restaurant downstairs does breakfast, including American, brunchy, and granola options, as well as lunch and dinner. The beach is a five-minute walk, there are three different marts within three minutes, and a shopping center across the street. Restaurants are nearby too, and during our last stay there was even a night eco market. Thank you for everything, Kemangi!!!
