We booked for a few days of yoga and rest because the property presents itself as peaceful and relaxing. It is beautiful, and the staff were lovely, but construction right in the middle of the grounds made it far too loud for us. There were signs for “whisper zones,” yet we hadn’t been warned about the renovation, which went on until 8 p.m. when we arrived. It was beside the massage rooms and one of the pools, near comfortable daybeds that would have been ideal places to relax. You could also hear it very clearly from the yoga room. Other people were doing yoga and milling around, so perhaps it didn’t bother them, but it was too much for us and we left. We requested a refund because of the noise. Management refunded two of our four nights, which we appreciated, though it still wasn’t the stay we thought we’d booked. It felt hypocritical to advertise tranquility while loud building work nearly drowned out the call to prayer. Kuta has a lot of construction, but this property is adding a building and guests should be told before booking. If noise doesn’t bother you, you may still enjoy staying here. I’d like them to be more transparent. Afterward, I received an email offering a refund for one more night. They said there had been a miscommunication between contractors and workers, which is why the noise continued until 8 p.m., and that construction is supposed to stop at 5 p.m.

The calm hits you as soon as you walk in, and this is honestly one of the best places I’ve visited in Lombok. The rooms are really comfortable and the pool is beautiful. The food is fully vegan and organic, fresh and vibrant, and open to everyone. I ate there several times because it was so good. The yoga and breathwork space is lovely, and the warm, genuine people add a lot to the experience. A special place, and I’ll definitely be back.

I did my YTT at Mana in Feb2026, in a small group of eight. I think that’s really special compared with other YTTs, which are usually a bit bigger, though still fairly small. The three weeks were amazing, and the relaxing, calm, beautiful, safe setting makes Mana an ideal place for training. The staff made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. I loved having the spa right next to the garden rooms, especially at the end of an intensive training day. Teachers Charlotte and Chacha created a warm, wholesome space and shared so much knowledge and experience. I learned a lot from them, and I can only recommend the training.

I stayed in a spacious, beautiful room with an outdoor bathroom. Mana Eco Retreat is a peaceful oasis in Kuta, a lovely place to unwind, recharge, and do good-quality yoga each day. The staff were welcoming and happy to help with anything. Meals were delicious, with fresh, healthy choices. I loved the yoga and Pilates classes, especially Steph and Chacha’s vinyasa flow and Dea’s grounding Hatha class. The spa treatments were deeply relaxing too. You can walk to Kuta village and the beach, or take a scooter or taxi to other beaches. I highly recommend it for the quiet, wellness, and hospitality.

The yoga and mat Pilates were the best part for me. Classes ran on a flexible schedule, and the instructors were great. I also had a really relaxing massage afterward. Mana Eco Retreat felt peaceful and intimate, just right for a reset, and the vegan breakfast was healthy and nourishing. One thing that could be better: I found sand on the sheets and a stain on the towel.
