Ohana Hotel Kuta

It was easy to get around from this hotel, and the staff were friendly and helped us find taxis outside. We skipped breakfast, but the room service was great and brought extra bottled water every day. It was very hot during our stay, so the air-conditioning was perfect, and I even liked the cold shower 😅 A great spot for sleeping before heading out to explore. Would recommend 👌

A comfortable stay that didn't cost much, and breakfast being included made it even better value. The in-house restaurant was a highlight for me, the food was delicious. A dependable choice in Kuta if you're after a decent place to stay without spending too much.

I woke up on Sunday morning to a Booking.com alert confirming a reservation in Indonesia, even though I was thousands of kilometers away and had my own check-in scheduled elsewhere that same day. I hadn't made this booking. It was under a different name, Antonio Soares, which made it clear to me that someone had accessed my account without permission. I contacted the property and Booking.com support right away. The hotel declined my message and made no attempt to look into it. They only got back to me a full day later, after the situation had already unfolded. My account had evidently been compromised, and bonus credits were used without my consent. A third party was allowed to check in under suspicious circumstances, and no identity verification concerns were raised, even though the booking came from an account under a female name. This makes me seriously question the hotel's security awareness and responsibility. They accepted a guest under those conditions despite being warned, which shows a complete lack of due diligence. I can't recommend this property. If management won't review complaints or prevent fraudulent check-ins, all guests could be at risk.

The bed was comfortable, and when we asked for an extra soft pillow, they brought one promptly. Staff were always nice and glad to help. We stayed 6 nights, and the room was cleaned daily, with towels and what looked like fresh bed sheets. The room itself was fair, nothing 3 stars. Breakfast was poor, just 2 types of fruit, powdered juice, and some traditional Asian food, though you could ask for eggs made fresh. I wouldn't recommend the restaurant or room service. We ordered a pizza that arrived full of onions, even though that ingredient wasn't mentioned. We asked for it without onion, and they took the pizza away, seemed to pick the onion out, then brought it back not hot like the first one. The hotel was good overall, but I'd avoid the restaurant.
