Pondok Sari

We liked the quiet neighborhood, with few other hotels nearby, and could walk to Kuta beach, restaurants, and bars. The airport is close too. Staff were professional, kind, and helpful, and our room was clean and tidy. We also enjoyed cooling off in the pool. Having a washing machine available was handy, and we could rent a scooter right at reception. We had a great stay at Hotel Pondok Sari Kuta and highly recommend Pondok Sari Kuta.

For a short stop near the airport, this was a convenient choice. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and I found the room clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful during my stay. I’d recommend it as an airport hotel, and booking on their website may get you a better rate, as prices there are usually better.

The location down a narrow alley made drop-offs and pick-ups a little awkward, especially for larger vehicles. There’s also no elevator, so a second-floor room could be a hassle with heavy bags. Inside, though, my room was neat, clean, and comfortable, even if it wasn’t especially spacious. The small pool was cozy, well kept, and a nice place to relax. Late check-in was easy even at a very late hour, which I appreciated after a long trip. Water dispensers in the lobby and other main areas made refilling bottles simple. Pondok Sari Kuta isn’t a luxury hotel, but it’s a reliable short-stay option in Kuta if you want cleanliness, practical amenities, and a welcoming feel.

The pool area is lovely for taking a break, and staff are always friendly and ready to help. I also liked being able to leave belongings I didn’t need at the hotel while I was away. It’s good value for the price and a comfortable place to stay before or after a flight. Highly recommend.
