Surya Inn Denpasar is simple, honest and great value. We paid 300k for a nice, clean, comfortable room, and the prices are really affordable. The genuinely friendly staff made us feel welcome right away. It's also a perfect spot for airport travel, just a five minute walk, which takes the stress out of an early flight or late arrival. There are hundreds of restos nearby, and the beach walk at night is a blast. Highly recommended.

The rooms were clean and had Wi-Fi, AC and hot water. I landed at 1 in the morning and left at 6, but for very little money I got a decent nap, a shower and a chance to freshen up. It's only a two minute walk from the airport, perfect for getting there.

A good basic budget hotel less than a ten minute walk from the airport, so there's no need for a taxi. The room was clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our flight arrived at 1:30 am, and they stayed open so we could check in. Just right for a late arrival or an overnight stop before an early flight.

A really handy layover hotel, only about an eight minute walk from the international terminal. The large rooms were clean, and the staff were polite. Several restaurants and mini markets are nearby.

The main plus is that you can walk to the airport in 10-15 minutes. But at IDR 254k, I could definitely find a much better room nearby. This was our second stay at Surya Inn, and the first one was okay, but this time was really disappointing. The room and balcony were dusty and dirty, the bathroom looked old and unhygienic, and the stained sheets and blankets made me wonder whether the sheets are changed for each new guest. It took the kettle 10-15 minutes to boil a glass of water. The room was small, too, so there wasn't much space to unpack luggage. Read the bad reviews first!
