We’ve stayed here three times now, including with our small dog, which they let us bring along. It’s a simple hotel with no frills, fine for a few nights, and the small breakfast is included. The value is very good, and the location works well if you want to be near Kartika Placa. It could use better cleaning and upkeep, though. Keep your expectations in line with the price and you’ll be happy.

The pools and exterior look lovely, but the rooms need major work. The sink leaked, the shower barely had pressure, the electrics seemed unsafe, the room was damp, and the towels were stained. The surfaces were so dirty that one antibacterial wipe came away black. When I mentioned it, the owner was very kind and apologetic. He tried to clean with only a rag and water, perhaps because of a language barrier, and didn’t seem familiar with cleaning spray. There’s no clear system for keeping basic hygiene and comfort up to standard. The hotel needs renovation and better management.

The garden and swimming pool were lovely, and the shower worked well. I stayed for a week and thought the price was very good for what was offered. The location is convenient, close to everything, and the staff were amazing and helpful. Breakfast was perfect. I’d come back in the future.

The staff were kind and friendly, which was the only good part for me. The hotel is old and poorly maintained, with a very basic bathroom, and I could hear the neighbors talking through the wall. I may have been there during a local holiday period, but mornings were noisy, with kids shouting and screaming at the pool, and it was noisy again in the evening. I wouldn’t recommend it if you want a quiet, relaxing stay. Everything else was awful.
